National Envelope reports $484,600 in net income for August; sales rise

Wilmington, Del., Oct. 11 - National Envelope Corp. reported net income of $484,600 on net sales of $1.03 million in August, according to the company's monthly operating report filed Oct. 7 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
Those figures compare with a net loss of $448,200 on net sales of $2,400 in July.
The company reported cash and cash equivalents of $4.38 million as of Aug. 31, up from $4.02 million at the end of July.
National Envelope, a Uniondale, N.Y.-based envelope manufacturing company, filed for bankruptcy on June 10, 2010. Its Chapter 11 case number is 10-11890.
