Lucky’s Market receives another extension of exclusive plan periods
By Sarah Lizee
Olympia, Wash., Sept. 30 – Lucky’s Market received a fifth extension of its exclusive periods for filing and soliciting votes on a Chapter 11 plan, according to an order filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
Specifically, Lucky’s exclusive plan-filing period was extended through Oct. 16 and the solicitation period through Dec. 15.
With consent of the committee and prepetition secured lender, the debtors will have the right to extend the exclusivity period further through Nov. 30 and the solicitation period through Jan. 28.
As previously reported, the company said its goal is to confirm a liquidating plan, and it has been working with its secured lender and the official committee of unsecured creditors to achieve that goal.
Lucky’s is a Niwot, Colo.-based supermarket operator. The company filed bankruptcy on Jan. 27, 2020 under Chapter 11 case number 20-10166.
