Moody's: Lone Star Tech stable

Moody's Investors Service said it changed its outlook for Lone Star Technologies Inc. to stable from negative.

Moody's said the outlook change recognizes the dramatic improvement in the company's financial performance in 2004, which is expected to continue for at least the near-term, and the attendant lessening of liquidity and rating pressures.

Ratings affirmed include Lone Star's $150 million 9% guaranteed senior subordinated notes due 2011 at B3, the senior implied rating of B1 and the senior unsecured issuer rating of B2.
