Lexington Realty files automatic shelf for preferreds, stock and debt

Knoxville, Tenn., Aug. 30 - Lexington Realty Trust filed an automatic shelf registration in an S-3 ASR filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The registration covers common shares of beneficial interest, preferred shares of beneficial interest, debt securities, depositary shares, warrants, subscription rights and units.

The securities may be structured as convertibles.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

The company is a New York-based real estate investment trust that focuses on non-residential properties.
