Krung Thai Bank to start roadshow Wednesday for dollar-denominated offering of perpetual securities

By Reshmi Basu

New York, Sept. 12 - Krung Thai Bank PCL plans to start a roadshow Wednesday in Singapore for a dollar-denominated offering of perpetual hybrid tier I securities (Ba1/BB+/BBB- expected), according to a market source.

The roadshow will spend two days in Singapore, then move to Hong Kong on Friday and wrap up in London on Monday.

The deal will have a step-up after 10 years. If not called, the coupon changes from a fixed to a floating rate.

This is the debut offering from the issuer, which is based in Bangkok, Thailand.

Merrill Lynch is the bookrunner for the Regulation S transaction, which is being issued through the issuer's Singapore branch.
