Moody's gives Aa2 to Korea notes

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an Aa2 foreign-currency senior unsecured debt rating to Korea Housing Finance Corp.’s planned dollar-denominated notes.

“The Aa2 rating on the proposed senior unsecured bonds is on par with KHFC's long-term issuer rating,” Moody’s said in a statement.

The bonds are being issued as social bonds and the proceeds will be used to provide access to housing finance for low-to-middle-income households in Korea as detailed in KHFC's sustainable financing framework.

The outlook on KHFC is stable.
