JPMorgan plans capped enhanced participation notes linked to S&P 500

Chicago, Aug. 21 – JPMorgan Chase & Co. plans to price 0% capped enhanced participation equity notes due March 2, 2017 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.5 times any index gain, up to a maximum payout of $1,202.50 to $1,237.00 for each $1,000 principal amount of notes. The exact cap will be set at pricing.
Investors will be fully exposed to any losses.
J.P. Morgan Securities LLC is the agent.
The notes will price on Aug. 25 and settle on Sept. 1.
The Cusip number is 48125UN24.
