JPMorgan to sell 1.65% protected notes on Alternative Multi-Strategy 5

Milwaukee, June 9 - JPMorgan Chase & Co. plans to price 1.65% principal-protected notes due June 15, 2015 linked to the J.P. Morgan Alternative Index Multi-Strategy 5 (USD), according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Interest is payable annually.

The payout at maturity will be par plus at least 150% of any index gain, with the exact participation rate to be set at pricing, all minus a threshold percentage of 8.7%.

Investors will receive at least par. For there to be an additional amount paid, the index has to appreciate at least 5.8%.

The notes are expected price on June 10 and settle on June 15.
