New Issue: JPMorgan prices $9.45 million return notes linked to basket of 15 stocks

Tacoma, Wash., Oct. 6 - JPMorgan Chase & Co. priced $9.45 million of 0% return notes due Oct. 15, 2010 linked to a basket of 15 stocks, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The basket consists of equal weights of Akamai Technologies, Inc., Cadence Design Systems, Inc., Church & Dwight Co., Inc., Encore Acquisition Co., Endo Pharmaceuticals Holdings Inc., FactSet Research Systems Inc., Gen-Probe Inc., McMoRan Exploration Co., MetroPCS Communications, Inc., Monster Worldwide, Inc., Office Depot, Inc., RRI Energy, Inc., tw telecom inc., UTi Worldwide Inc. and ValueClick, Inc.

The payout at maturity will be 99% of the sum of par plus the basket return. Investors could lose some of their principal if the basket return is less than 1.01%.
