Moody's rates Israel Electric notes Baa2

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a provisional rating of Baa2 to the proposed $2 billion global medium-term note program of Israel Electric Corporation Ltd.

The outlook is stable.

High government support is factored into the rating, which reflects strategic importance to Israel, the agency said.
