New Issue: Barclays prices $174,000 buffered Super Track notes on iShares MSCI Emerging Markets

Tacoma, Wash., Sept. 29 - Barclays Bank plc priced $174,000 of 0% buffered Super Track notes due March 30, 2012 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets index fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 150% of any fund gain, subject to a maximum return of 17.125%. Investors will receive par if the fund declines by 10% or less and will lose 1% for every 1% that it declines beyond 10%.
