New Issue: Barclays prices $8.74 million PLUS linked to iShares MSCI EAFE

Tacoma, Wash., March 1 - Barclays Bank plc priced $8.74 million of 0% Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due April 4, 2014 linked to the iShares MSCI EAFE index fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the exchange-traded fund's final share price is greater than the initial share price, the payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus 300% of the fund return, subject to a maximum return of 15.4%. If the final share price is less than the initial share price, investors will be fully exposed to the decline.

Barclays is the agent. Distribution is through Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC.
