Interstate Bakeries claim purchasers form committee

Pittsburgh, Oct. 3 - Interstate Bakeries Corp.'s claim purchasers have formed an information committee, according to a Tuesday news release.

The committee is comprised of holders of unsecured and reclamation claims against Interstate.

Claim purchasers interested in joining the committee can contact committee counsel Evan Flaschen (860 240-2723).

The Kansas City, Mo., bakery operator filed for bankruptcy on Sept. 22, 2004 with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Missouri. Its Chapter 11 case number is 04-45814.
