S&P affirms International Finance
S&P said it affirmed the AAA long-term and A-1+ short-term issuer credit ratings on International Finance Corp.
The outlook remains stable.
The agency said the ratings are based on the company’s very strong business profile and extremely strong financial profile.
In 2017, International Finance posted stronger financial metrics than the previous year, which S&P said it expects it can maintain over the next two years.
The agency said it also anticipates that the company will maintain the very strong business profile it has built over the past six decades and aligned with the strategy of the World Bank Group, with which it collaborates in leveraging on private-sector lending solutions.
