World Bank talks benchmark offering of five-year notes at mid-swaps plus 7 bps area

Tupelo, Miss., March 12 – The International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, or World Bank, plans to price a benchmark-sized dollar-denominated offering of global notes due March 19, 2024 (Aaa/AAA/AAA) on Tuesday, according to a market source and a stabilization notice.

The notes were initially talked to price with a spread in the mid-swaps plus 7 basis points area.

J.P. Morgan Securities plc, BNP Paribas Securities Corp., Citigroup Global Markets Ltd. and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC are the bookrunners.

The global development financing cooperative is based in Washington, D.C.
