Intermolecular prices $56.82 million initial public offering of stock

Shares sold at $10.00 apiece in offering with $14.48 million greenshoe

Knoxville, Tenn., Nov. 18 - Intermolecular, Inc. priced its $56.82 million initial public offering of stock with a $14.48 million greenshoe in a Friday prospectus filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. It expects the shares to trade on the Nasdaq exchange under the symbol "IMI."

The company will sell 5,681,796 common shares at $10.00 per share.

Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Barclays Capital Inc., Pacific Crest Securities LLC and Needham & Co., LLC are the underwriters.

Settlement is expected Nov. 23.

Proceeds will be used for working capital and other general corporate purposes.

Intermolecular is a San Jose, Calif., semiconductor and clean energy research company.
