Eagle Hospitality units file bankruptcy with over $500 million in debt

Olympia, Wash., Jan. 19 – EHT US1, Inc. and several other entities of Singapore-based Eagle Hospitality Real Estate Investment Trust filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy Monday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The company listed $500 million to $1 billion in both assets and liabilities in its petition.

Its largest unsecured creditors are Lodging USA Lendco LLC, based in Pasadena, Calif., with an $89 million loan claim, Crestline Hotels & Resorts LLC, based in Fairfax, Va., with a $5.75 million hotel management claim, Aimbridge Hospitality, LLC, based in Plano, Texas, with a $3.48 million trade claim, Intercontinental Hotels Group, based in Atlanta, with a $3.26 million trade claim, Evolution Hospitality LLC, based in Plano, Texas, with a $2.07 million trade claim, and Marriott International, based in Bethesda, Md., with a $1.73 million trade claim.

Other details were not available as of Tuesday morning.

Singapore-based Eagle Hospitality owns a portfolio of corporate, leisure and airport hotels across the United States. U.S. affiliate EHT US1 filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy under case number 21-10036.
