Erste Bank Croatia preps inaugural green senior preferred bonds

Chicago, Jan. 17 – Croatia-based Erste & Steiermarkische Bank dd will be offering a first green senior preferred note with a five-year tenor (//A-), according to a source.

The deal size is expected to be €400 million. Talk is for four years of call protection.

Erste Group is the sole green structuring adviser.

The Regulation S deal lists BNP Paribas, Citi, Erste Group and Societe Generale as joint bookrunners.

The transaction is expected soon, subject to market conditions.

The bank is focused primarily on retail customers and small and mid-size companies and large corporations doing business in Croatia.
