Evergreen Solar records $4.52 million net loss for Oct. 2 to Oct. 29

Pittsburgh, Dec. 1 - Evergreen Solar, Inc. reported a net loss of $4.52 million on net revenues of $335,824 for the period of Oct. 2 to Oct. 29, according to its monthly operating report filed Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The company reported a net loss of $17.53 million on net revenues of $338,448 for the period of Aug. 28 to Oct. 1.

For the Oct. 2 to Oct. 29 period, Evergreen reported cash and cash equivalents of $39.69 million, down from $41.76 million for the September period.

Evergreen Solar is a Marlboro, Mass.-based producer of solar power. The company filed for bankruptcy on Aug. 15. The Chapter 11 case number is 11-12590.
