Edison Mission Energy nine-member unsecured creditors committee named

Pittsburgh, Jan. 7 - Edison Mission Energy's official committee of unsecured creditors has been appointed by U.S. Trustee Patrick A. Layng, according to a Monday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

The nine-member committee is comprised of:

• Thomas M. Korsman of Wells Fargo Bank, NA of Minneapolis;

• Carter C. Culver of Commonwealth Edison Co./Exelon Corp. of Chicago;

• Lawrence Clennon of Clennon Electric of Wilmington, Ill.;

• Bridget Schessler of trustee Bank of New York Mellon of Pittsburgh;

• Christopher Wittenauer of Peabody Coalsales, LLC of St. Louis;

• Scott Jennings of Nesbitt Asset Recovery, LLC PSEG of Newark, N.J.;

• Simon Beemsterboer of Geo. J. Beemsterboer, Inc. of Hammond, Ind.;

• Kip K. Coco of Hinsdale, Ill.; and Robert Schwartz of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Local One, based in Chicago.

Edison Mission is an Irvine, Calif.-based developer of wind energy projects. The company filed for bankruptcy on Dec. 17. The Chapter 11 case number is 12-49219.
