Easy Gardener creditors committee reappointed following resignations

Pittsburgh, Sept. 14 - Easy Gardener Products, Ltd.'s U.S. Trustee appointed an amended official committee of unsecured creditors for the company's Chapter 11 case, according to a Thursday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

According to the filing, representatives from Rosti (Dallas) Inc., Tredegar Film Products Corp., Englander Container and Display and Freudenberg Spunweb Co. resigned on July 17 and Sept. 8.

The committee now includes Mike Diaz of Wilmington Trust Co., New York; Peggy Upton of Great American Leasing Corp., Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and Martin Leary of Hanes Industries, Middlesex, N.C.

Easy Gardener, a Waco, Texas-based manufacturer and marketer of consumer lawn and garden products, filed for bankruptcy on April 19. Its Chapter 11 case number is 06-10396.
