Deb Stores posts $21,124 net loss for Nov. 1-Nov. 28 period

Bethlehem, Pa., Jan. 8 – Deb Stores Holding LLC reported a net loss of $21,124 for the period of Nov. 1 to Nov. 28 on $0.29 in revenue, according to its monthly operating report filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

In comparison, Deb Stores reported a net loss of $2.33 million for the period of Oct. 4 to Oct. 31, also on $0.29 in revenue.

The company had $2.6 million in cash and cash equivalents for the current period, down from $3.8 million at Oct. 31.

Deb Stores is the parent company of Deb Shops, a Philadelphia-based retailer that specializes in junior and plus-sized merchandise for women aged 13 to 25. Deb Stores filed for bankruptcy on Dec. 4, 2014. The Chapter 11 case number is 14-12676.
