Fitch assigns A to Dover notes

Fitch Ratings said it assigned an A rating to Dover Corp.'s issuance of €300 million senior notes due 2020.

Fitch's current issuer default rating for Dover is A and the outlook is stable.

The notes are expected to close on Dec. 4 and net proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes. The notes will be pari passu with Dover's existing senior unsecured indebtedness.

Fitch said the ratings and outlook continue to be supported by Dover's solid annual free cash flow; strong operating profile from a diversified business portfolio; and leading positions in secular growth markets.
