Dorsey & Whitney adds McKinlay to bankruptcy & financial restructuring

Morgantown, W.Va., June 21 – Dorsey & Whitney LLP announced that Jessica G. Peterson McKinlay has joined the firm’s bankruptcy and financial restructuring group as of counsel.

McKinlay represents trustees, debtors, creditors and other related parties in federal bankruptcy court and related state and federal litigation. She also represents clients in commercial litigation in both federal and state courts.

McKinlay joins Dorsey’s Palo Alto, Calif., office from the Durham Jones & Pinegar law firm in Salt Lake City, where she was a shareholder practicing in the bankruptcy and creditors’ rights and litigation practice groups.

McKinlay has a JD, an MBA and a BS from the University of Utah. After law school, she was a law clerk for Chief Justice Christine M. Durham of the Utah Supreme Court.

Dorsey is a law firm based in Minneapolis.
