Dianor Resources corrects number of units disclosed from January private placement

By Sheri Kasprzak

Atlanta, June 23 - Dianor Resources Inc. said it disclosed the incorrect number of units sold in a private placement that closed on Jan. 27.

The company actually sold 7,384,413 units, not 7,284,413 units as it had announced at the time.

The units were sold at C$0.23 each for total proceeds of C$1,698,415.

The additional 100,000 units represent units purchased by a single investor in British Columbia.

The units are comprised of one share and one warrant. The warrants provide for the purchase of an additional share at C$0.35 each through Jan. 28, 2006.

Dianor, based in Val-D'Or, Quebec, is a diamond exploration company.

On Thursday, the company's stock closed up half a penny at C$0.325.
