Delta U.S. Trustee appoints second amended creditors committee

Pittsburgh, Jan. 31 - Delta Air Lines, Inc.'s U.S. Trustee named the second amended official committee of unsecured creditors for the company's Chapter 11 case, according to a Wednesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

Matt Philo of MainStay High Yield Corporate Bond Fund of New York is no longer on the committee.

The amended committee is comprised of Deborah Ibrahim of U.S. Bank NA; Jordan Weltman of Boeing Capital Corp., Renton, Wash.; Suzanne Kelly of the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp.; John Lewis of Coca-Cola Co.; F. Scott Wilson of Pratt & Whitney of East Hartford, Conn.; Tim Canoll of the Air Line Pilots Association, International of Atlanta; Nate Van Duzer of Fidelity Advisor High Income Advantage Fund of Boston and Gary Bush of Bank of New York.

Delta, an Atlanta-based airline, filed for bankruptcy on Sept. 14, 2005. Its Chapter 11 case number is 05-17923.
