Singapore's Chartered Semiconductor to sell $300 million seven-year notes via Goldman Sachs

St. Louis, March 28 - Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing Ltd. plans to price an approximately $300 million offering of seven-year senior notes later this week, according to an informed source.

Goldman Sachs & Co. is the bookrunner for the public offering.

Proceeds will be used to repay bank debt.

The Singapore-based semiconductor foundry company plans to list the bonds on the Singapore Stock Exchange.
