ABN Amro plans 12% knock-in notes linked to Caterpillar
By Angela McDaniels
Seattle, Jan. 4 - ABN Amro Bank NV plans to price knock-in reverse exchangeable securities due April 30, 2007 linked to the common stock of Caterpillar Inc., according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The securities will price on Jan. 26 and settle on Jan. 31.
The three-month securities will pay 3% for an annualized rate of 12%. Interest will be payable monthly.
The payout at maturity will be par unless Caterpillar stock falls below the knock-in level - 90% of the initial share price - during the life of the securities and finishes below the initial share price, in which case the payout will be a number of Caterpillar shares equal to $1,000 divided by the initial share price.
ABN Amro Inc. will be the agent.
