Cantor Fitzgerald adds Sodokoff, McHugh, Dial as managing directors

Minneapolis, Jan. 26 - Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. added Scott Sodokoff as a managing director on the credit trading team, Jim McHugh as a managing director in investment-grade sales and Bill Dial as a managing director in investment-grade credit products, the company announced in a press release.
Sodokoff's team is responsible for energy, utility, project finance, aircraft and military housing trading. He previously was a managing director, desk head and trader in the institutional taxable fixed-income services group at Piper Jaffray with a trading focus in secured aircraft, project finance, military housing, infrastructure finance and credit.
McHugh joins Cantor from MF Global. Previously, he worked as a managing director and head of U.S. credit sales at RBC Capital.
Dial previously was a managing director at Knight Capital, where he primarily traded chemicals, metals and mining, autos, builders and REITs.
"Cantor continues to attract talented professionals who share our unwavering commitment to excellence in serving our clients' needs. These appointments are representative of our ongoing goal to broaden the scope and depth of the firm's sales force and client relationships," CEO Shawn Matthews said in a press release.
"The addition of these talented and highly skilled professionals adds to our team's market knowledge and insight as we continue building a successful and competitive global credit fixed income business," Matthews added in the release.
