Canadian Convertible Debenture Fund to sell C$100 million trust units

Knoxville, Tenn., Aug. 25 - Canadian Convertible Debenture Fund said it registered to sell C$100 million in trust units via a prospectus offering in Canada.

The company will sell 10 million of the units at C$10.00 apiece.

The syndicate of agents for this offering is being led by CIBC World Markets Inc., BMO Capital Markets and National Bank Financial Inc. and includes, RBC Capital Markets, Scotia Capital Inc., Canaccord Capital Corp., Dundee Securities Corp., HSBC Securities (Canada) Inc., Raymond James Ltd., Blackmont Capital Inc., GMP Securities LP, Manulife Securities Inc. and Wellington West Capital Markets Inc.

The Toronto-based private fund was created to invest in a portfolio made up of convertible debentures from Canadian issuers.
