Cache gets approval of four-month extension of exclusive plan periods

By Mark Reccek

Bethlehem, Pa., Oct. 21 – Cache, Inc. received approval of a 120-day extension of its exclusive periods for filing a Chapter 11 plan of reorganization and soliciting votes on the plan, according to an order issued Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The company’s exclusive filing period was extended through Feb. 1 and its solicitation period through April 1.

As previously reported, the company said the extension is warranted as it is in the process of winding down remaining issues.

Cache, a mall-based chain retailer of formal womenswear based in New York, filed for bankruptcy on Feb. 4, 2015. The Chapter 11 case number is 15-10172.
