By Andrea Heisinger

New York, Feb. 2 - Council of Europe Development Bank announced an offering of five-year notes on Tuesday, with pricing expected on Wednesday, a source close to the deal said.

The Rule 144A notes (Aaa/AAA/AAA) are set to launch Wednesday morning after the books close. The overnight sale was to include investors in Asia, the source said.

BNP Paribas Securities, Credit Suisse Securities, HSBC Securities and Morgan Stanley are the bookrunners.

The issuer grants loans to member states to promote social programs and is based in Paris.
