Copart shareholder Jana Partners cuts stake to less than 5%

Charlotte, N.C., Dec. 10 - Jana Partners LLC sold 2,069,693 shares of Copart, Inc. between Dec. 5 and Dec. 9 priced from $25.08 to $26.08 each, it was reported in a schedule 13D/A filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

On Oct. 13, Jana Partners sold 1 million shares of Copart for $35.15 each, a prior SEC filing said.

The investor beneficially owns approximately 3.86 million shares, or 4.6%, of the Fairfield, Calif., auto remarketing company.
