Concerto to obtain $725 million of bank debt for Aspect acquisition

New York, July 6 - Concerto Software will obtain $725 million of bank debt to help finance its purchase of Aspect Communications Corp.

The debt will include $475 million of senior bank financing led by JP Morgan and Deutsche Bank Securities and $250 million of second lien financing led by JP Morgan and Lehman Brothers. Wells Fargo Foothill is documentation agent for the senior bank debt and D.B. Zwirn Finance is administrative agent for the second lien debt.

Golden Gate Capital and Oak Investment Partners will contribute equity.

Golden Gate, which disclosed the financing plans, is paying $1 billion for Aspect, which will be acquired by its portfolio company Concerto, which provides contact center software and services.
