S&P gives BBB- to Cliffs notes
Standard & Poor's said it assigned a BBB- corporate credit rating to Cliffs Natural Resources Inc. a rating of BBB- to its proposed $350 million senior unsecured notes due 2020.
The outlook is stable.
Proceeds will be used to refinance a portion of its outstanding term loan, repay a portion of the debt obligations and for general corporate purposes.
