New Issue: Citigroup prices $500,000 contingent coupon autocallables linked to indexes, ETF

By Wendy Van Sickle

Columbus, Ohio, Dec. 9 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. priced $500,000 of autocallable contingent coupon equity-linked securities due Nov. 29, 2029 linked to the least performing of the Nasdaq-100 index, the Russell 2000 index and the iShares China Large-Cap ETF, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Each quarter, the notes pay a contingent coupon at the rate of 8.75% per year if the least-performing asset closes at or above its coupon barrier value, 60% of its initial level, on the valuation date for that quarter.

Beginning in May 2020, the notes will be automatically called at par if the least-performing asset closes at or above its initial level on any quarterly potential autocall date.

The payout at maturity will be par unless the least-performing asset finishes below its final barrier value, 60% of its initial level, in which case investors will lose 1% for every 1% that the least-performing asset declines from its initial level.

The notes are guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.
