S&P affirms Bumi notes

Standard & Poor's said it affirmed its BB rating on the $300 million of guaranteed senior secured notes issued by Bumi Capital Pte. Ltd.

The rating reflects the unconditional and irrevocable guarantee by PT Bumi Resources Tbk. (BB/stable), the agency said.

Proceeds from the 12% notes due in 2016 will be used primarily for capital expenditure and investments, S&P added.
