New Issue: Broward County, Fla., brings to market $482.19 million of airport bonds

New York, Nov. 2 – Broward County, Fla., sold $482,195,000 of series 2015 airport revenue bonds, according to a pricing sheet.

The deal included $426,315,000 of series 2015A AMT bonds, $9,575,000 of series 2015B non-AMT bonds and $46,305,000 of series 2015C AMT bonds.

The 2015A bonds are due 2016 to 2037 with term bonds due in 2040 and 2045. The serial coupons range from 2% to 5% with yields from 0.50% to 4.10%. The 2040 bonds have a 5% coupon priced at 109.626 to yield 3.82% and the 2045 bonds have a 5% coupon priced at 109.025 to yield 3.89%.

The 2015B bonds are due Oct. 1, 2045 and have a 5% coupon priced at 111.632 to yield 3.59%.

The 2015C bonds are due 2016 to 2025 with coupons from 2% to 5% and yields from 0.45% to 2.80%.

The bonds (A1/A+/A+) were sold through senior managers Raymond James/Morgan Keegan and Ramirez & Co. Inc.

Proceeds will be used to construct and improve terminals at the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport.
