Boyd Gaming driving by with $500 million five-year senior notes; initial talk in 9% area

Portland, Ore., May 13 – Boyd Gaming Corp. is expected to price a $500 million offering of five-year senior notes in a Wednesday drive-by, according to market sources.

Initial talk has the Rule 144A and Regulation S notes coming to yield in the 9% area.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC is the lead.

The notes come with two years of call protection.

The Las Vegas-based gaming and hospitality company plans to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes, including working capital.
