Blaylock hires Archia as a senior vice president for Midwest region

Minneapolis, Dec. 7 - Blaylock Robert Van, LLC announced that veteran public finance banker Adrienne Archia joined the firm's Chicago office as a senior vice president focused on serving clients throughout the Midwest region, according to a press release.
Archia most recently worked at Rice Financial Products Co., where she oversaw that firm's Midwest public finance practice and created, managed and structured bond, note and derivatives transactions totaling billions of dollars.
"Adrienne is well known and highly respected in the Midwest, and having her on our team underscores our commitment to serving the region with a top-tier team of public finance professionals," Blaylock president Eric Van Standifer said in the release.
"She has worked closely with numerous major issuers on a wide range of public financings and served as a financial advisor on some groundbreaking financings. We expect Adrienne to play a major role in the growth of our firm."
Blaylock also announced that Amy Plyler Nunez joined the firm as senior vice president of sales and trading based in the firm's Chicago office. Nunez most recently was a fixed-income trading consultant to Gofen and Glossberg and earlier was a senior trader at Harris Private Bank.
Blaylock is an Oakland, Calif.-based minority-owned investment bank and financial services company.
