Moody’s affirms Bharti Airtel at Baa3

Moody's Investors Service said it affirmed Bharti Airtel Ltd.'s Baa3 issuer rating and senior unsecured debt ratings as well as the Baa3 ratings on the senior unsecured notes issued by Bharti Airtel International (Netherlands) BV, which are irrevocably and unconditionally guaranteed by Bharti.

The outlook is stable.

"The rating affirmation is underpinned by the strong cash flow generation of Bharti's Indian operations, particularly in wireless voice and data, where it enjoys a well-established and leading market position under the Airtel brand," Moody's vice president and senior credit officer Annalisa DiChiara said in a news release.
