Broadcom’s subsidiaries intend to offer senior notes

Knoxville, Tenn., Jan. 11 – Broadcom Ltd. reported in a press release and an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that two of its subsidiaries, Broadcom Corp. and Broadcom Cayman Finance Ltd., intend to offer senior notes.

The notes will be guaranteed on a senior unsecured basis by Broadcom and some of its other subsidiaries.

Proceeds will be used to repay debt under Broadcom’s credit facility and for related fees and expenses.

Broadcom is an Irvine, Calif., maker of chips for broadcasting.
