Buffalo, N.Y., Sept. 22 – Barclays Bank plc priced $2 million of 0% market-linked securities with leveraged upside participation to a cap and fixed percentage buffered downside due July 6, 2027 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus any gain in the index, subject to a maximum payout of par plus 53%.
If the index falls by up to 15%, the payout will be par.
Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% decline of the index beyond 15%.
