New Issue: Bank of Thailand auctions 24 billion baht of bonds

New York, April 4 - The Bank of Thailand announced the results of its auction in which it issued 24 billion baht of bonds.

Thailand issued 12 billion baht of bonds due April 5, 2007 at a weighted average yield of 5.19392%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 1.18.

The bank also issued 12 billion baht of notes due April 7, 2008 at a coupon of 5 3/8% and a weighted average yield of 5.3746%. The bid-to-cover ratio was 1.86.
