New Issue: Scotiabank prices $13.25 million digital better of participation notes tied to MSCI EAFE

Tacoma, Wash., July 19 - Bank of Nova Scotia priced $13.25 million of 0% digital better of participation notes due July 21, 2016 linked to the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the final index level is greater than or equal to the initial index level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the greater of the index return and 27.65%. Otherwise, investors will be fully exposed to the index decline.

Scotia Capital (USA) Inc. is the underwriter, and Goldman Sachs & Co. is dealer.
