New Issue: Bank of East Asia sells $650 million more tier 1 capital securities

Olympia, Wash., Sept. 19 – Bank of East Asia, Ltd. priced $650 million of additional tier 1 undated capital securities, according to a notice of listing with the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Ltd.
The capital securities are being issued under the bank’s $6 billion medium-term note program.
Bank of East Asia, Ltd., Citigroup, Credit Agricole CIB, Goldman Sachs (Asia) LLC, HSBC, CCB International, China Citic Bank International CMB Wing Lung Bank Ltd., DBS Bank Ltd., BofA Securities Inc., Standard Chartered Bank and UOB are the joint lead managers and joint bookrunners.
Bank of East Asia, Citigroup, Credit Agricole, Goldman Sachs and HSBC are also joint global coordinators.
Listing is expected for Friday.
Bank of East Asia is based in Hong Kong.
