Bank of East Asia talks benchmark 10-year notes in 275 bps area

Atlanta, Nov. 13 – China’s Bank of East Asia Ltd. set talk in the Treasuries plus 275 basis points area for a dollar-denominated offering of benchmark-sized notes due in 10 years (expected rating: /BBB-/), a market source said.
Citigroup, HSBC, JPMorgan and Morgan Stanley are the bookrunners for the Regulation S issue of Basel III-compliant Tier 2 notes.
The notes, which are expected to price this week, will be non-callable for five years.
The bank is based in Hong Kong.
