New Issue: Bank of Canada auctions C$3.5 billion more bills due May 2 at 99.96440

Chicago, April 19 - Bank of Canada said it priced another C$3.5 billion of Government of Canada bills due May 2, 2011 in an auction on Tuesday, bringing the total deal size to C$6 billion.

The average yield was 1%, and the average price was 99.96440.

Bids were received for C$9,455,000,000 of notes, none of which were non-competitive.

The bank bought C$500 million of the notes.
