Banco Santander Chile plans dollar benchmark bonds due 2015 via Deutsche Bank, JPMorgan

Atlanta, Sept. 14 - Banco Santander Chile is planning a benchmark-sized issue of dollar-denominated bonds that could price as soon as this week, a market source said.

Deutsche Bank and JPMorgan are the bookrunners for the Rule 144A and Regulation S deal.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, mainly to fund lending activities.

Banco Santander Chile is a Santiago, Chile-based subsidiary of financial services company Grupo Santander.
