Banco Santander Mexico calls $77.09 million 5.95% tier 2 preferreds

Chicago, Jan. 10 – Banco Santander Mexico, SA issued a redemption notice for its $77,093,000 of 5.95% tier 2 subordinated preferred capital notes due 2024.

The notes will be redeemed at par on Jan. 30, according to the notice.

Holders will also receive accrued interest to but excluding the redemption date.

The Bank of New York Mellon is the trustee and paying agent.

Madrid-based Banco Santander provides bank services. Its subsidiary is based in Mexico City.
